Full Paper Guidelines

Overview

Authors of accepted contributions are encoraged to submit a full paper, that, depending on the content, will be considered for publication in one of the following international scientific journals:

A selection of papers, dealing with computational electromagnetics, will be published in a special issue of COMPEL - International Journal for Computation and Mathematics in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
A selection of papers, dealing with applications of optimization and inverse problems methodologies in electromagnetics, will be published in a special issue of IJAEM - International Journal of Applied Electromagnetics and Mechanics.

The authors may select the suitable journal or suggest their preferred journal if they believe the paper is suitable for more than one journal.

For both journals, the formatting of the full paper can be similar to the one for the digests. The template for the full paper can be downloaded here.

Deadline for Full Paper Submission is September 21, 2018

COMPEL Guidelines for authors

Papers selected for COMPEL will be published in Issue 38/3 of COMPEL in 2019. This special issue will have the title "Special Issue on Optimization and Inverse Problems in Electromagnetism". The length of each paper is limited to 4000 words including appendices and references. The style of the paper must be that of COMPEL.

In particular, a 'structured abstract' will need to be prepared (instead of an abstract) and references must be in Harvard style, as explained in the guidelines. Copyright of all material shall belong to the Emerald Group Publishing Limited.

Article files should be provided in Microsoft Word format. LaTex files can be used if an accompanying PDF document is provided. PDF as a sole file type is not accepted, a PDF must be accompanied by the source file.

IJAEM Guideline for authors

Papers selected for IJAEM will be published in a supplemental issue of IJAEM in 2019. The length of each paper is limited to 5000 words including appendices and references.

Copyright of all material shall belong to the IOS press.

A word processor file must be provided, such as Word, WordPerfect, LateX (If using LaTeX, please use the standard article.sty as a style file and also send a pdf version of the LaTeX file).
